Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create a contest?

From the home screen, tap the "+" button to create a new contest. Choose a game type (pick'em, survivor, bracket, etc.), configure your rules and scoring, then invite friends using your unique contest code.

How do I join a contest?

Tap "Join Contest" on the home screen and enter the contest code shared by your commissioner. You can also join public contests from the Discover tab.

When do I need to submit my picks?

Picks lock at the scheduled start time of each game. You'll receive a notification reminder before picks are due. If you miss the deadline, an auto-pick may be made on your behalf depending on the contest settings.

How is scoring calculated?

Scoring depends on the game type and rules set by the commissioner. You can view the scoring details for any contest on its detail page under the game rules section.

Can I edit my picks after submitting?

Yes, you can change your picks any time before they lock. Once a game starts, picks for that game are locked and cannot be changed.

How do bracket contests work?

Bracket contests let you fill out a tournament bracket (e.g., March Madness). Depending on the contest settings, you may fill out the entire bracket upfront or pick round by round as the tournament progresses.

How do survivor contests work?

In a survivor contest, you pick one winner each week. If your pick loses, you receive a strike. Accumulate too many strikes and you're eliminated. You can't pick the same team twice during the season.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from the app by going to Settings and tapping "Delete Account." Your account will enter a 30-day grace period during which you can reactivate it by signing back in. After 30 days, your data is permanently removed.

What sports are supported?

We support 30+ sports and leagues including NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, WNBA, MLS, NCAA (football and basketball), Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Champions League, UFC, F1, NASCAR, PGA, and more.

Is the app free?

Yes, I'm the Commish is free to play.
